The Infallible Word of God

So where did I start once I realized what a mess I had?

The Bible.

I want to tell you, that if you are anywhere in these places I have been, and you are starting on your journey, please know, that my writings will not be what completely sets you free… and neither will the words of others.

I do pray that I can explain something that will allow the Holy Spirit to touch your heart and lead you into a heart knowing from the scriptures, but the only thing that has the power to fully set you free is the WORD of God.

You, getting the Bible out, opening the pages, and reading the words for yourself.

Hebrews 4:12: For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

2 Timothy 3:16: KJV: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness…
The Message Bible puts it like this… “There’s nothing like the written Word of God for showing you the way to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us.”

I had spent my whole life reading books, book after book of other people’s interpretations of the Bible, what God showed them, their interpretation of it.

And that can be completely OK and great and helpful.

But what was missing was that I really didn’t know if what they were saying was biblically accurate or not, because I hadn’t read the Bible for myself fully.

Start in Ephesians 1:17-21, pray this prayer over yourself every day.

If you were like me, blinded by religion, blinded by religious doctrines of man, it takes the power of God to peel back those layers, or scales.

Speak the words with your name in it.

The Word of God is His love letter to you.

Be fully convinced that this Word is life, it’s a hammer, a sword. (Hebrews 4:12, Jeremiah 23:29, Ephesians 6:17)

Be fully convinced that His Word is for YOU.

Be fully convinced that it is complete, perfect, not lacking a single word.

Be fully convinced that everything that He has said would happen has happened, and everything else will, too.

Put the Word to work in your life.

The best is yet to come.
