That thing I think, or say to my other friends about them… 

Did God say that about them? 

Here’s the thing God told me… 

There’s only two kingdoms at work in the world. There’s no neutrality.

The Kingdom of Light, and the kingdom of darkness. 

Which one will I represent? 

Gods not telling me anything that would steal, kill or destroy from their life. 

He’s not telling them my struggles, so He’s not telling me theirs. 

He’s not given me a word on their heart motive, because His word says that only He knows the heart. 

His words to you about them bring out the spirit of God in them, not their sin.

Because that’s what God sees, is His Child.

So if God’s not gossiping with me about others…

If Gods not slandering, accusing, or envying…

Then who is? 

What are we saying about God’s kids out loud? 

How about in our minds? 

What are we thinking about them? 

We can take those thoughts captives, too. 

Because when we give satan an in with sin, he’s in.

Because what lurks in darkness will continue to lurk until we decide he needs to be brought to light. 

So go ahead. 

Flip the switch. 

Switch kingdoms. 

Allow the one that brings life to others to inspire your thoughts, your feelings. 

Because ever so subtly, we can find ourselves representing darkness, in our thoughts first, then emotions, then words… and we don’t even know it.
