The devil loves you walking around with that limp.
The devil’s loving that you’re still carrying it…the bitterness, the wound, the pain.
That destruction of your life being displayed daily as your testimony as you decree and declare the struggle of life instead of the Savior, believer.
Am I saying deny there’s a problem? No.
Am I saying put up a front and don’t let people know there’s a problem? No ma’am.
Put on your Sunday best and showing up playing a part? Nope to that, too.
But what does your crutch scream?
Is your crutch screaming woe is me or greater is He?
Put your metaphorical crutch down, child of God.
He healed you, saved you, redeemed you, justified you, restored you, has given you abundance now.
Stop living with your mistake branded on your forehead.
Stop allowing the issue to become your identity.
God got over it with the cross of Christ, so it’s time you got over it, too.
God doesn’t see it anymore, and neither should you.
It’s stealing from you.
Let God officially bring beauty from those ashes for not only you, but for someone else.
You see, that crutch that you know so well, that you’ve walked that mile in, can actually be used for God’s glory for not only you, but for someone else, too.
As you decide to lay down your crutch, what’s the next thing that happens?
You look up.
You look up and see other people with crutches who may not know the Savior you know.
We must not forget what it’s like when we see others with crutches, braces, and cast… don’t forget how God healed you and saved you from that, too, and go share.
Go and share what the Lord can do… what He has done.
Don’t let pride keep you from sharing how He saved you.
Don’t get too far healed that you forget what He delivered you from.
Remember what it’s like enough to go to those people and help them see Jesus like you did.
There is no help like that of one who has walked that same mile… a brother, a hand or foot of Jesus.
No one can help hurting souls better than those of us who have already walked it out with Jesus, and lived to tell about the hard things.
God’s worked it out for your good, so now your testimony is there to help another.
Go out and love like Jesus until the crutches fall off.
