Your preacher, or pastor or spiritual leader’s job is to tell you the full gospel of Jesus Christ.

To proclaim the greatness of Almighty God, the good news that Jesus paid it all, that on the cross It was Finished.

What you do with it, well, that’s up to you.

You are personally accountable now, you’ve been officially informed of the gospel.

It’s not the preachers job to sanctify you.

Preachers can only deliver a message as they have understood it from the Word, from the Holy Spirit to them, for others.

They work tirelessly to present that message the way God intended them to.

But you have to take that message home and apply it to your life, with God’s help.

It’s YOUR responsibility to apply the Word to your life.

It’s YOUR walk with Jesus.

Yes you’ve been hurt by a church, or a pastor or a denomination.

It’s time to lay that mess down.

Let the pastor off the hook, and you go digging through the word for yourself.

It’s time to take the responsibility off other people to walk with Jesus for us.

It’s time to stop looking for a perfect pastor, a perfect leader, a perfect counselor, a perfect mental health professional… they simply do not exist.

It’s time to start looking to the Perfecter and Finisher of our Faith.

It’s go time.

The world needs you … the best you that was created for walking life out with Christ.
