Laborers

Today I was talking to God on the way home from dropping kids off at school.

I was tired, zapped, feeling nauseated, all things from all directions closing in.

I didn’t even know what I needed.

I was so exhausted and overwhelmed I was just worshipping Him..all I knew to do.

I whispered to Him, “please send help.”

In that moment, literally, one of my best friends texted me within minutes of this prayer.

To encourage me, to say she was thinking about me, to check on me.

You see, God hears every single prayer you pray the moment you pray it, and I believe that He sends the help immediately, mostly in the form of another person.

Just like in the Bible, God usually has to find someone that is listening for His voice to get that message to His daughter or son when we can’t hear Him clearly.

Sometimes we get so much soul junk, we can’t hear the Father clearly.

So when someone pops into your thoughts, that doesn’t make sense why, reach out to them.

Pray for them, whatever you feel prompted to do, do it.

Because God is at work, because God’s summoning you to be a laborer for Him in that moment for His kid.

Don’t be so distracted with life and things that we can’t pause and agree with heaven for that person for a minute.

I thank God for the laborer who checked in on me today.

Let’s take care of each other.

God loves you. And He loves me.

If you’re heavy-hearted today and you know that you’re praying and seeking and asking and wondering if God hears you, He absolutely hears.

And He’s already got your answer on the way.

Trust Him and expect it.

Because He’s already sent a laborer to you too, beloved.

He can’t fail you.

Matthew 9:38:

“…pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest…”

Daniel 9, 10.
