This is a subject in our culture that is very subjective.

“I think honor your parents means this…” or “I think honor your parents means that..”

Isn’t it awesome how God sent His Son in the form of a man, to exemplify how we as children were to apply the things that He heard the Father say?

What did Jesus do while He was in true mental, physical, and emotional anguish hanging on the cross?

He said to John, “this is your mother now.”

He made sure that His mother was taken care of, disregarding his current tormenting mental and physical and emotional state.

That my friend is the biblical way, example and instruction to honoring your father and mother, the way to break the generational curse.
