Don’t let the world tell you that you only have to cope with what they say you have.
That disorder they claim is untreatable…
the one that only slightly improves with management of symptoms…
Coping mechanisms for depression.
Coping mechanisms for PTSD.
Coping mechanisms for anxiety, bad dreams, suicidal thoughts.
Jesus doesn’t tell us to cope… He was and is our only true HOPE.
Christians, we don’t have to merely meander through life as “cope-ers.”
We have this Hope…
Hebrews 6:19-20 tells us, “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.” (Emphasis mine).
We have Jesus Christ, our High Priest forever.
Because of Him, we are a new creature. A new man; our IN CHRIST identity.
We are not of this world, only in it.
We don’t have to live our lives coping with lies that the enemy has convinced us are truth.
The truth is that God is unshakeable. Unwavering. Unchanging. Unable to be anything but pure Truth.
We are not hopeless. We aren’t messed up, or broken in our spirit.
Jesus paid it all.
And the same spirit who rose Jesus from the dead, lives in you, believer.
And this is the real you. The realest you you’ll ever know.
Just turn and He, Christ, will meet you.
Turn from coping, to HOPING- in the one true God, the One true HEALER, the One true COUNSELOR.
Anchor yourself and your soul to Jesus Christ, your Lord.
You’ll remain immovable positioned in HIM.
Only IN HIM, only from the mind of Christ we recieve at salvation, can we understand that He is our All in All.
Only IN HIM can we see that He truly can fix every single dark and scary thing.
Don’t simply settle to cope.
Bravely, boldly, and fearlessly embrace Hope.
