Ever tried to drown out background noise to keep your focus on what’s in front of you?

The Spirit of God is our internal honing device.

When we get still, we can hear and recognize Him within us, drawing us to Him.

Not for our works, for relationship. To get to know Him personally.

And how hard it is to get quiet these days? How many things are SCREAMING for our attention?

Think that’s a coincidence? The harder and uglier the world gets, the more and more distractions come at us.

Why is that?

What’s the big deal?

The enemy of the world is not after you personally. The enemy is after the Word; the Word being shared, the Word being understood, the Word transforming lives and the fire spreading.

The enemy is also not about us growing in relationship, or communing often with God. He’s not about us knowing that the God of the Universe, the Son Jesus Christ that crushed his head and defeated him forever, is calling YOUR name.

Satan’s not about you receiving the powerful love of God to transform your everyday, His perfect love casting out ALL fears.

The devil’s not about you learning about who you are in Christ, because of Jesus, your authority in this world now…

How come?

Because then YOU will have tasted and seen that He IS Good, you will know what the Bible says you have now, because of Jesus, from EXPERIENCE, and you’ll start sharing too.

Get quiet.

Don’t believe the lie that God’s mad at us.

Don’t believe the lie that you have to read enough chapters, do enough good works, or pray enough before you can come to Him.

Don’t believe the lie that you have to clean up the dirty in your life first before you can call on Him.

Don’t believe the lie that He’s disappointed in you.

Don’t believe the lie that you aren’t enough to deserve His love.

Jesus took care of that… He, who knew no sin, became sin, so that we, you and me, could become the righteousness of God; being right with God.

It truly is that simple.

Because Jesus came, you can receive it.

Get still and quiet before the Lord today, and ask Him to show you what He thinks about you.

He won’t force it on you, He’s the ultimate gentleman.

He’s hovering over you, within you, simply waiting for your ask.

Get ready friend, to be blown away.
