We don’t have to beg God for anything.
He’s given us everything that pertains to life and godliness, in our spirit.
He’s not far away.
He’s with us, the word says He will never leave nor forsake us, by His Holy Spirit. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit when He went to take His seat at the right hand of the Father.
The One who is everywhere all the time.
God is with us.
We need to know He’s literally closer than a brother, He’s within you.
Jesus is done. He’s seated because the work is done.
You don’t have to ask for more and more fillings of the Holy Spirit. You can, but sometimes you just need to command your soul to bless the Lord, and focus on Jesus and this truth more than what you think you need more of from Him.
You’ve got enough. Everything you will ever need to do anything God’s called you to is already given.
You need to learn what you’ve got. And instead of asking for more, thank Him for what He’s already done, and ask Him to teach you how to see it, to overcome the carnal.
Christians aren’t beggars.
We are daughters and sons.
And who, when their son asks for bread, gives them a stone?
Why would the God of all good, withhold anything as we seek His Will?
He wouldn’t, and He’s not.
We just don’t know what’s been done, accomplished, defeated and finished at the atonement of Jesus- we perish for lack of knowledge.
Here’s the good news.
Everything we have is written in His word.
It’s not hidden at all. It’s right on your night stand, your Bible app, your newsfeed.
I was this person for a long time. Thinking God was withholding something I needed to punish me for sin I committed.
Nah, Jesus paid it all for me. He cleared my tab.
Sin in my life was making dull the voice of God in my spirit. And now I know that it’s not Him picking favorites.
It’s me not hearing.
Forgive yourself, like He forgave you and let it go.
I pray that you will see and hear with your spiritual eyes and ears.
He is good.
Yesterday, today and always.

“Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
II Peter 1:2-4 NKJV

“Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
Psalms 103:1-5 NKJV

“that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.”
Ephesians 1:17-21 NKJV
https://bible.com/bible/114/eph.1.17-21.NKJV
““Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!”
