Behind the Camera

We don’t see them much, especially in pictures.

We don’t see all the things that they do each day…

Wiping the spills.

Kissing the booboos.

Mending the heart hurts.

Boosting the spirits.

Equipping their saints.

Praying fervently.

Interceding and warring for their souls.

Cutting up grapes.

Packing the lunch box.

Keeping their journals.

Watching them sleep.

Folding their socks.

Script reading for the call backs.

Listening behind the door to their vocal audition.

Reorganizing toys after bed.

Cleaning the goo off the top of the ketchup lid and the jelly jar.

Fueling our hearts with the scripture in the early morning hours…

We won’t ever see the full work of a mama, but her every action is beheld in the eyes of the Father.

He cares for her as she cares for them.

He sees her fully, behind the camera.
