Law or Love?

Which governs you?

“God, just tell me what to do and I’ll do it.”

Ever said that? I have.

“Just tell me what to do so I can do it and skip the process. I just want the end result.”

I was missing it, you see.

It’s in the process where God does the changing.

It’s in the process of transferring my heart from being governed by law and religion to the love of Jesus that change happens, where the fruit is produced.

I cannot produce heart change.

Only God.

The Bible says that if the law governs you, you’ll live a life with a veil over your eyes, blinded, your spiritual understanding darkened, ears deafened. (Galatians 3:11-12)

Love, the life of Christ, is here to constrain us now, to govern us as believers. Step by step, day by day, daily walking close to Thee…

The law of Christ, will be written upon my heart by the relationship I have with the Holy Spirit.

His Love now governs me.
