Ephesians 4 talks a lot about unity in the body of Christ.
We are baptized into one body, with one call, which is to create unity, by gathering and uniting together as the Bride.
It’s easy to appear unified at church, the 1–3 hours once a week that we spend together.
It’s easy even to be unified at work all 40 hours a week because once we get off, we can relax and settle.
But what about at home?
This is our 24/7 crew.
What does that Unity look like?
Do our kids see us the same at church as they see us at home?
What about our husband or wife?
This is the heart of the whole bible, y’all.
The real us.
And these principles of unity most importantly need to work in the home first.
Our family is our most precious gift from God. Our priority over everything else.
It’s about Unity.

Ephesians 4: 1-6: “So I, the prisoner for the Lord, appeal to you to live a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called [that is, to live a life that exhibits godly character, moral courage, personal integrity, and mature behavior—a life that expresses gratitude to God for your salvation], 2 with all humility [forsaking self-righteousness], and gentleness [maintaining self-control], with patience, bearing with one another [a]in [unselfish] love. 3 Make every effort to keep the oneness of the Spirit in the bond of peace [each individual working together to make the whole successful]. 4 There is one body [of believers] and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when called [to salvation]— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of us all who is [sovereign] over all and [working] through all and [living] in all.“
