Love

What is love?

Can we see past the commercialization to a pure and sacred truth?

Love is not what we think it is…

Love is not what the world tells us it is…

Love is a Person.

A Perfect Person by the name of Jesus Christ, sent by a Perfect God whose essence is Love.

His is love not retracted for the biggest mistakes of your life…

His is love not conditional on doing the right thing…

His is love that sees past your mess and runs toward you…

His is love that heals your body, cleans your soul, and renews your mind…

His is love that casts out fears of death and suicide…

His is a love that rescues you from the pit of despair and destruction you would never get out of on your own…

His is love that captures every single tear drop in a bottle…

His is love that can never be measured, it is infinitely forever unending…

Happy Valentine’s Day, y’all.

Enjoy your family and your people.

I try to reject the commercialism, but we have Charlotte who’s insistently about the cards, hugs, kisses, chocolates and teddy bears.

But she, Rosie and Tate also hear that Real Love is a raging sea from heaven only.

Real Love is a never ending bubbling brook from the pit of your soul that never runs out.

The purest type of love is one that contains no expectations, no return requirements, no strings attached, simply pure and in place regardless of what you think or feel about it.

The plumbline of God’s Love always remains regardless of if you know it, want it, believe it or not.

Please remember believers, without God, there is no love, no Valentine’s Day.

Remember, that Jesus died the worst type of death on the cross for your face.

One of Rosie’s favorite songs right now is “Two Wooden Beams,” by Josiah Queen, and like Clint’s been singing in the house all day…

“Love is the blood stains on two wooden beams…”

Because He, and only He, is Love.
