There will come a time when all the traumas, all the hurts, all the pain will no longer exist when you’ve walked them out with Jesus.
A time that you may ask God, “I’m feeling all healed up… now what?”
You will remember, but the painful details will no longer be relevant. You’ll not forget, you’ll just rest in finalized forgiveness.
Sometimes all that trauma creates in us an unease, an unrest when there is nothing to fix, nothing to heal from, and nothing more to do.
It’s almost as if the place of healed seems scary to us, because it’s peace, and some of us do not know how to exist safely in peace.
It is what Joyce Meyer described, I believe, as “Enjoying Everyday Life.”
It is being able to be mindful of the moment, present in the present.
Present in the memory making.
Content with the unknown of tomorrow, or next year.
Peaceful in the planning.
At rest with the Father no matter what may come my way because really, I just don’t think it really matters.
The things of the world won’t be a worry anymore, because we understand that the worst that could happen is that we would enter into the presence of our Lord Jesus in person.
Deep, heavy, healing, solid peace of God.
It is almost as if there is a new you.
A new you that you don’t well know yet, because the enemy, the trials of this life kept her shut up inside.
This person—this healed, resting in Christ person you are—is the real you. This is who God put into your sesame seed size body to come into the world.
You’re free, because it’s for freedom that Christ set you free.
So remember, to forget.
It’s Goodbye Yesterday… it’s bravely stepping further into the depths of Him, because with Him there is always more.
This is my spot in the place of our universe that I’ll remember the glory of my Father in the darkest season I’ve yet to walk…
Walk out your days being loved by Him, resting in the safety of His Wings finding refuge, and doing whatever His heart is for the person in front of you never loving anything more than Him.
Always follow His lead, His voice, His peace, His love, and tell everyone you see about the Man who told you everything you ever did…the Man who truly is the Savior of the World. (John 4:42)
