My War Cry

Wisdom for the Warrior

The wars of this battle will indefinitely mark you as a warrior.

The battle of the mind, changing your mind from agreeing with darkness to agreeing with the Light of Christ, will leave marks.

The warrior will be healed, and completely restored, but the warrior cannot be tamed, and people will notice.

They will wonder why you cannot just go with the flow, just chill, just let it go.

There is a part of us that can no longer rest in comfort and status quo.

When you’ve been to war, when you’ve faced death, when you see death, when you step up to the front line to look eye to eye and confront the lies that want to destroy you, something in you can never be what it once was, and people will not always understand.

These are the understandings and encouragement that God would speak to me when the battle would rage loudly in this season… These were the words from God behind my war cry:

The warrior in you was never meant to be tamed. She was meant to be unleashed on evil.

Unleashed by praying without ceasing, intentional intercession, humbling herself under the mighty hand of God, and contending continually to the hidden person of her heart.

Prayer and Intercession

Pray without ceasing.

Humility

“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”
‭‭I Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

In Due Time

In due time… oh, what a time this has been and will continue to be…

For He Cares for You

This is vital to know.

As you’re humbling yourself, you’ll find yourself having A LOT of cares.

God is making all things new, to make you better and stronger, and even still here, He invites you to talk to Him about your cares.

Come talk and share with Him, first.

Bring it to the prayer closet.

Bring it to the war room.

Settle it in heaven, first.

The Hidden Woman of the Heart

A Meek and quiet spirit.

“Let not yours be the [merely] external adorning with [elaborate] interweaving and knotting of the hair, the wearing of jewelry, or changes of clothes; But let it be the inward adorning and beauty of the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible and unfading charm of a gentle and peaceful spirit, which [is not anxious or wrought up, but] is very precious in the sight of God.”
