Young and Old

The Love of God isn’t just for brand new Christians… it’s for the men and women, the faithfully saved believers that sit on the pews and the preachers standing behind the pulpit every Sunday…

How can we ever even dream of weaning from milk to chewing and digesting the meat of righteousness until we receive and walk in His love for us? (1 Corinthians 3)

It’s completely foundational.

It’s the Love of God that should compel and constrain us, (2 Corinthians 5:14-19) not religious church rules.

We should never do anything—especially move into any type of ministry to others —without the Love of God to fellow man being our pure and single motive. (1 Corinthians 13)

And we can’t give, show or demonstrate the Love of God if we haven’t received it. We can’t give away what we don’t have. (1 John 4).

We can be so mean and nasty and can’t choose to show love to strangers, and we don’t know why… maybe it is simply because we don’t know the perfect love of the Father for our very self yet…

We are all walking around just hoping that we make it in…

Just hoping that we are getting it right…

Simply focusing on us. Us and ours, there’s not much left for others.

Young and old, get this.

Receive this.

Open your hearts ears and eyes to see your Father, your Daddy; you ARE the apple of His eye.

“And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able;”

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”

He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”
